CLEVELAND -- Monday's divisional clash between the Indians and Tigers has been put on hold, as inclement weather pushed the start time of the series opener to 9:30 p.m. ET.
Cleveland right-hander Danny Salazar (10-3, 2.22 ERA) and Detroit lefty Daniel Norris (1-0, 4.09 ERA) are scheduled to start. The Tigers enter the three-game set having won six straight games.
The Tribe has returned home after a 10-game road trip; it has won all nine meetings with the Tigers this season.
