The Orioles' organization and its players are getting into the giving spirit of the holidays, with various events slated for the next few weeks.
The O's spearheaded a food drive at their spring home in Sarasota, Fla., last week, volunteered with a Baltimore food bank and will once again host a kids holiday party next month.

Center fielder Adam Jones is also hosting his fifth annual #StayHungry Purple Tailgate tonight before the Ravens' NFL game vs. the Texans. The event, which benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Baltimore (Jones is a Boys & Girls Club alum), raised $50,000 last year, with proceeds totaling $80,000 since the tailgate's inception.
The charity tailgate -- headlined by country music act LoCash -- will feature an open bar and food from local Baltimore restaurants, with prices ranging from $60-$125. Depending on your ticket option, fans can get a special signed item from Jones, a photo op with LoCash and early entry into the tailgate lot.
The #StayHungry Purple Tailgate will be held at the Purple Tailgate Zone at 152 W. Ostend St. (the corner of W. Ostend and Leadenhall streets) from 3:30 to 8 p.m. ET.
