#SnapchatDay rolls on at Padres camp

March 11th, 2016

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Snapchat Day came to the Peoria Sports Complex on Friday, and it started near the Padres' clubhouse.
And it kept right on rolling -- like in a motorized cart -- from there.

The Padres' official Twitter account detailed some of the fun players and coaches had with Snapchat before the team's 8-3 loss to the White Sox.
One shot showed several players riding a cart from the team's facility over to the ballpark, with smiles on everyone's faces as they avoided a long walk.

Another shot showed third baseman Yangervis Solarte bumping fists with bullpen coach Doug Bochtler in the dugout minutes before the game.

The fun continued during the game as well.
An unidentified player placed sunflower seeds on the top of rookie outfielder Manuel Margot's hat -- as he was wearing it.
