The Padres set a franchise record on Sunday when Matt Kemp, Christian Bethancourt and Yangervis Solarte all homered.
It marked the 15th straight game in which the Padres had at least one homer. San Diego's previous record for consecutive games with at least one homer was 14 games, set from July 14-29, 1998.
The Padres have hit 26 homers during their record streak dating back to June 28, and they are 8-7 during the streak.

Of the 26 home runs, left fielder Melvin Upton Jr., third baseman Solarte and second baseman Ryan Schimpf lead San Diego with five homers apiece.
First baseman Wil Myers has three, Kemp and catcher Derek Norris both have two home runs. Adam Rosales, Bethancourt and Alex Dickerson each have one.
Notes from the scorebook
• On Sunday, right-hander Edwin Jackson became the only active pitcher to start a game for nine Major League teams. The Padres are his 11th team. Until Ramiro Pena singled off closer Brandon Maurer in the ninth, San Diego was working on the 21st one-hitter in franchise history. Jackson's 6 1/3 innings of no-hit pitching did not rank among one of the 20 "close calls" in Padres history. A game must be a no-hitter going into the eighth to qualify for that list.

• The sweep of the Giants was the Padres' first sweep of the season and marked the first time San Francisco had been swept, or lost a series against a National League West opponent since mid-April. San Diego is 14-9 since June 18 and 21-18 since the start of June. The Padres are now 2-13 on Sundays, 7-23 in day games and 5-25 in the final games of series.
• Solarte has hit safely in nine of his past 10 games and 16 of his past 18. Since June 23, Solarte is hitting .342 (26-for-76) with eight doubles, five home runs, 17 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
• Schimpf was 2-for-3 with a RBI on Sunday. He has two hits in five of his past eight games, going 10-for-28 with four home runs, two doubles, a triple, eight RBIs and two runs scored.

• Kemp's homer Sunday gave him homers in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season, but for the first time since May 27-28. His 45 career homers against the Giants is the most by any active player.
• Bethancourt's fifth home run of the season Sunday was his first since May 20.
