Goldschmidt just beats Bellinger's strike home

LOS ANGELES -- Dodger Stadium went from elated to dejected in the bottom of the seventh when an out call at home plate was overturned via Mitel instant replay, though the D-backs eventually lost, 3-2.
With the Dodgers leading 1-0, the D-backs had the bases loaded against and Alex Avila lifted a fly ball to medium-center field.

Home plate umpire Adam Hamari called Goldschmidt out and the near sellout crowd erupted as the Dodgers began to sprint off the field.
The D-backs, though, challenged the call, and after a review of 2 minutes and 34 seconds, it was ruled that Goldschmidt's foot beat the tag and that he was safe, tying the game at 1.
On the play, was allowed to advance from second to third and from first to second. Madson, though, was able to settle back down and strike out pinch-hitter to end the inning with the game tied.
