Frandsen, Jordan and Stocker join radio team

Trio will rotate Phillies' road games as Andersen takes reduced role

January 8th, 2018

PHILADELPHIA -- It will take three Kevins to replace Larry Andersen on the road in 2018.
The Phillies announced Monday afternoon that Kevin Stocker, Kevin Jordan and Kevin Frandsen will be color analysts alongside play-by-play announcer Scott Franzke in the team's radio broadcast booth this season. Andersen requested a reduced role in 2018. He will be broadcasting exclusively home games at Citizens Bank Park.
"There's no doubt that replacing LA is a tough job," Phillies executive vice president David Buck said in a statement. "His chemistry with Franzke has been outstanding and together they made listening to our games entertaining, but we believe that the unique personalities, knowledge of the game and familiarity with Phillies fans that each Kevin has, will complement Franzke's role in the booth, making this new lineup of radio talent fun for our fans."
Stocker, Jordan and Frandsen will rotate games on the road. A schedule will be announced at a later date.
The trio has a history with the Phillies. Frandsen, 35, played for the Phillies from 2012-13. He has worked at KNBR 680 AM in San Francisco the past 18 months. He co-hosts "KNBR Tonight." He previously spent a year as co-host for KNBR 1050 AM's morning drive show, "The Audible."
Jordan, 48, played for the Phillies from 1995-2001. He auditioned for the job during a three-game series last season.
Stocker, 47, who was the shortstop for the 1993 National League championship team, has been a color analyst for the Pac-12 Network and CBS Sports Network the past 14 years. He worked six games with Franzke the past two seasons.
