A’s fans can now vote to help select the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024
Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be announced during A’s Fan Appreciation Weekend this September
OAKLAND, Calif. — Oakland A's fans can now vote to help select the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024. Fan voting will be combined with balloting by a committee of A's front office personnel, Athletics Hall of Famers, and the media. Fans can cast a vote until Wednesday, Sept. 6, at athletics.com/vote.
Former Oakland players on the 2024 fan ballot include Jose Canseco, Coco Crisp, Mark Ellis, Dick Green, Dave Henderson, Ramon Hernandez, Ken Holtzman, Rick Honeycutt, Tim Hudson, Mike Moore, Mark Mulder, Dwayne Murphy, Mike Norris, John “Blue Moon” Odom, Tony Phillips, Terry Steinbach, Miguel Tejada, Bob Welch, and Barry Zito. The 2024 fan ballot now also includes a write-in option.
Earlier today, Aug. 6, the A’s inducted the Class of 2023 into franchise history. The five-member class included American League MVP Jason Giambi; World Series Champions Carney Lansford and Gene Tenace; Philadelphia Athletic Bob Johnson; and "Voice of God" public address announcer Roy Steele.
The full Class of 2024 will be announced during A’s Fan Appreciation Weekend in September. Fans can vote now until Wednesday, Sept. 6, at athletics.com/vote.
