ATLANTA (May 3, 2023) – The Atlanta Braves have partnered with the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) to host the fourth annual GHSA 7A Baseball State Championships at Truist Park. Designed to showcase baseball talent in the Southeast, the championships are an extension of the organization’s efforts to foster the next generation of young baseball talent. The championship games will take place on Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17, if needed.
The 2023 7A series will be held as best-of-three series. The 7A championship series will start on Tuesday, May 16 with first pitch at 5 p.m. and Game 2 starting 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. If Game 3 is needed to complete the series, the game will be played on Wednesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. Participating teams are still to be determined.
