SAN FRANCISCO – The Giants and right-handed pitcher Jason Foley agreed to terms on a one-year Major League contract.

In 2024, his 28 saves ranked fifth in the AL, and his 69 games pitched were tied for 12th in the league. After the 2024 All-Star break, Foley pitched to a 2.70 ERA (8er, 26.2ip) while holding hitters to a .179 average to help Detroit claim a postseason berth. In 2023, the Sacred Heart University (CT) product tied for 10th in the American League in games pitched (70), and his 1.6 Fangraphs WAR ranked sixth amongst all AL relievers.
From 2022-2024, his 189.1 innings pitched ranked fifth among relief pitchers in the AL, and his 75 saves plus holds ranked 10th in the league among relievers.
