The Royals have had high hopes for Nick Pratto since they spent the 14th overall pick in the 2017 Draft on the Little League World Series hero. A strong finish to his first full pro season hinted at a breakout in 2019, but instead he batted .191/.278/.310 in High-A.

Pratto has had no problem living up to his first-round pedigree and making the jump to Double-A this year, however. He's the first player to earn back-to-back Prospect Team of the Week honors in 2021, as he homered in three different games and posted three hits in a fourth last week for Northwest Arkansas.

C: Adley Rutschman, Bowie Baysox (Double-A)

Rutschman parlayed a monster doubleheader performance on Sunday (five hits, homers in each game, seven RBIs) into becoming the third player to earn multiple PTOW honors this year, joining Pratto and Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 Draft is batting .293/.465/.573 with six homers in 22 games, leading the Double-A Northeast in runs (20) and walks (22) while ranking second in on-base percentage (.465) and RBIs (20).

1B: Nick Pratto, Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Double-A)

Pratto has slashed .385/.510/.974 with seven homers in 11 games the last two weeks, improving his overall line to .308/.446/.731 with nine dingers in 22 contests. He tops the Double-A Central in homers, extra-base hits (14), total bases (57), walks (19), slugging and OPS (1.176).

2B: Michael Busch, Tulsa Drillers (Double-A)
(Dodgers No. 3/MLB No. 87)
.318/.444/.636, 5 G, 22 AB, 3 R, 7 H, 4 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 3 BB, 7 SO, 1 SB

Busch has struck out more than expected while making the jump to Double-A with just five games of full-season experience, but the 2019 first-rounder has been productive nonetheless. He hit safely in each of his five contests last week and is slashing .261/.398/.545 overall while leading the Double-A Central in doubles (seven) and ranking second behind Pratto in extra-base hits (13) and walks (16).

3B: Rece Hinds, Daytona Tortugas (Low-A)

.333/.440/.667, 6 G, 21 AB, 7 R, 7 H, 2 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 4 BB, 4 SO, 1 SB

Hinds had the best raw power among high schoolers in the 2019 Draft -- in which he went in the second round -- and showed it off by slamming four extra-base hits in six games last week. He's slashing .231/.326/.474 with four homers in 20 Low-A games in what's essentially his pro debut after playing in just three contests in 2019 after signing for an over-slot $1,797,500.

SS: Marco Luciano, San Jose Giants (Low-A)

The 19-year-old Luciano has some of the best bat speed in the entire Minors, and he's starting to tear up Low-A pitching, as evidenced by his four multihit games and pair of homers last week. Just 19, he's batting .274/.330/.536 in 21 games and is tied for the Low-A West lead with five homers and 12 extra-base hits.

OF: Lazaro Armenteros, Stockton Ports (Low-A)

While Armenteros has not lived up to expectations since signing for $3 million and began this year taking a step back to Low-A after playing there in 2018, he has responded to the demotion well. He topped all Top 30 Prospects last week in batting, on-base percentage and hits after going 8-for-8 with three doubles in his last two games. He's pacing the Low-A West in hitting and boasts a .431/.471/.615 line with two homers in 15 games.

OF: Daniel Cabrera, West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

One of the more advanced bats in the 2020 Draft, Cabrera is making his pro debut this spring and was hovering right at the Mendoza Line (.200) before going off last week. He finished with three consecutive three-hit games and tied Armenteros for the lead among Top 30 Prospects in hits, boosting his season line to .276/.347/.460 with three homers in 22 games.

OF: Greg Deichmann, Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A)

Nagged by injuries earlier in his career, Deichmann led the Arizona Fall League with nine homers in 2019 -- his closest challenger had four -- before the coronavirus pandemic cancelled the Minor League season a year ago. He's back to raking with four multihit efforts and a pair of homers in five games last week, when he led all Top 30 Prospects with six extra-base hits. He's batting .310/.467/.534 with two homers in 18 games.

The Rays traded Sánchez to the Phillies to alleviate a 40-man roster crunch in November 2019, and he's just now making his debut with his new organization. He touched 98 mph with his fastball and his low-80s slider was unhittable on Wednesday, when he struck out eight in 5 1/3 hitless innings to earn his first Triple-A victory and lower his season ERA to 3.50 with 23 whiffs in 18 frames.

RHP: Carmen Mlodzinski, Greensboro Grasshoppers (High-A)

A supplemental first-round pick last June, Mlodzinski has yielded just one earned run in his first three pro starts, the best of which came Sunday, when he faced the minimum 15 hitters over five scoreless innings and struck out eight to pick up his first pro win. He reduced his season ERA to 0.79 with 18 strikeouts in 11 1/3 innings.

The top college relief prospect in last year's Draft, Carraway ran into severe control issues in mid-May but righted himself last week, when he whiffed six of the seven batters he faced. He has yet to give up a hit in 7 1/3 pro innings and sports a 3.68 ERA with 14 strikeouts and 10 walks.
