ARLINGTON -- The Rangers have set their 32-game Spring Training schedule for next season, and it will conclude with two games against the Brewers at Globe Life Field.

The Rangers will host the Brewers at 7:05 p.m. CT on Monday, March 29, and again at 1:05 p.m. the following afternoon. The Rangers are scheduled to open the season on April 1 in Kansas City, and the home opener is April 5 against the Blue Jays.

The Rangers are scheduled to play 30 Cactus League games in Arizona, including 17 in Surprise. The first game is Saturday, Feb. 27, against the Royals in Surprise. The schedule concludes on March 27 against the Padres in Surprise.

The City of Surprise Sports & Tourism Department is currently working to develop health and safety measures specific to the Spring Training experience after considering guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, local and international health authorities, Major League Baseball and destination partners. These will include reduced touch points, contactless ticketing, new intensified cleaning protocols and reduced seating capacity for social distancing.

Seise shines in Arizona
Shortstop Chris Seise's performance in the Fall Development League stood out for the Rangers during their 44-game schedule, which ended last weekend. The club went 29-10-5 during the six-week program played against teams from the Royals, Angels, Padres and Mariners.

Seise hit .358/.388/.556/.944 and led the Rangers with four home runs. Seise, who is ranked the club's No. 28 prospect by MLB Pipeline, was the 29th overall pick in the 2017 Draft and had his '18 and '19 seasons cut short because of shoulder injuries (left and right) that required surgery.

Seise is set to play for Atenienses de Manatí of Liga de Béisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente in Puerto Rico starting later this winter.

Guzman, Tejeda in winter ball
Rangers first baseman Ronald Guzmán and shortstop Anderson Tejeda have found spots playing in the Dominican Winter League.

Guzmán batted .375 (6-for-16) with two doubles and six walks against just three strikeouts through four starts for Gigantes del Cibao. Tejeda has already produced three extra-base hits -- two doubles and a home run -- in three starts for Tigres del Licey. Tejeda hit a two-run home run from the left side in his first plate appearance of the season on Sunday. Right-handed pitcher Tai Tiedemann is pitching for Leones del Escogido
