Rangers tee off, hit three homers vs. Felix

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers launched three home runs against and provided plenty of run support for in Tuesday night's 11-4 victory over the Mariners at Globe Life Park.

Two batters later, hit a solo shot to center field to give Texas an 11-4 lead. It was Beltre's 468th career home run, tying him with Chipper Jones for 33rd all-time.
Hernandez retired the first six batters he faced, but the Rangers appeared to make an adjustment offensively. They rallied for four runs in the third inning before hitting the home runs in the fifth and sixth.

"[Hernandez] was able to land the breaking ball early, had the offspeed stuff in play," Rangers manager Jeff Banister said. "The fastball, he was able to get in spots. It seemed like maybe our guys settled in, found the pattern, started looking for pitches up and out over the plate. He started missing a couple pitches and had to work back toward the strike zone, and our guys were able to capitalize on some mistakes."
The 11 runs Texas scored against Hernandez were the most he's allowed in his career. He's lost 25 games to the Rangers, the most by any opponent in club history.
