Moreland scratched with right calf tightness

MINNEAPOLIS -- Rangers first baseman Mitch Moreland was scratched from the Rangers' lineup before their 5-4 loss to the Twins on Sunday with tightness in his right calf. Jurickson Profar started at first base for the fourth time this season.
Moreland felt the muscle during the Rangers' pregame stretching and running preparations. He will be re-evaluated on Monday.
"Just felt it in warmups before the game," Moreland said. "I did my first job and the calf tightened up. It never let loose. Since it was before the game, I didn't want to push it."
Moreland ended up pinch-hitting for catcher Bobby Wilson in the seventh inning and drew a walk. Robinson Chirinos pinch-ran for him.
