'Broadcaster's Dream' part of WM Auction

MLB-wide event supports Katharine Feeney Memorial Scholarship Fund

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers are offering three outstanding Globe Life Park experiences for the annual Winter Meetings Charity Auction, which began Monday morning and runs until 9 a.m. CT on Thursday, the last day of the Winter Meetings.
For the sixth consecutive year, Major League Baseball, MLB Advanced Media, MLB Network and all 30 clubs have organized a charity auction during Baseball's annual Winter Meetings to benefit a special cause close to the game. This year, the auction will support the Katharine Feeney Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is in memory of the late pioneering baseball executive whose career spanned 40 years.

The Broadcaster's Dream: The winning bidder will receive two tickets to a mutually agreed upon 2018 Rangers home game with parking and the opportunity to meet Emily Jones, visit the field for batting practice, attend manager Jeff Banister's pregame interview with Eric Nadel, eat dinner in the press lounge, spend an inning in the TV and radio booths and an inning in the control booth to meet Globe Life Park voice Chuck Morgan. You'll also attend the postgame news conference and receive an autographed ball from your favorite player.
Hitting and Pitching Lessons: The winning bidder will receive a hitting and pitching clinic for two youngsters with Rangers hitting coach Anthony lapoce and pitching coach Doug Brocail. The package includes two personalized jerseys for the youngsters, four game tickets, a parking pass and a visit to watch batting practice on the field for all four guests. The youngsters must be between the ages of 6-17 and the event will take place on a mutually agreed upon date.
Ultimate Suite Experience: The winning bidder will receive a luxury suite for a mutually agreed upon 2018 Rangers game which includes 20 tickets, 20 caps, a $500 food & beverage credit, four parking passes, a suite visit by Rangers Captain, a 30-minute suite visit from a Rangers Alumni player and the ability to deliver the game lineup card for one of the 20 guests.
All three packages are not available for Opening Day, Fourth of July, Red Sox, Yankees and Interleague games.
