The Daytona Tortugas and Jupiter Hammerheads combined to set a new Florida State League record Saturday with 11 home runs in Jupiter's 18-13 win at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, Fla. Jupiter totaled six homers, while Daytona hit five to eclipse the previous FSL record (10) set in 1989.
Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto, who began a rehab assignment with Class A Advanced Jupiter on Saturday (bone bruise on his lower back), started the home run barrage with a solo shot in his first trip to the plate. The 27-year-old batted 3-for-3 with one walk and also contributed a double and three runs scored.

Realmuto put Jupiter on the board first, but the Hammersheads faced an early deficit as Daytona hit three homers and plated nine runs across the first two frames. Jupiter rallied, however, sparked by a grand slam by designated hitter John Silviano in a nine-run fifth inning -- his second home run of the game.
Jupiter right fielder Stone Garrett also homered twice, and shortstop Joe Dunand added a two-run shot as part of the Hammerheads' fifth-inning outburst.
For Daytona, first baseman Mitch Nay led the way with two homers and five RBIs. Center fielder Taylor Trammell, the Reds' No. 3 prospect per MLB Pipeline, hit a solo homer in the eighth inning. Second baseman Dilson Herrera and left fielder Daniel Sweet also went deep.
The runs scored by both teams marked 2018 highs for the young season. Jupiter reliever Dylan Lee earned the win with 3 1/3 scoreless frames. The left-hander has yet to allow a run through four appearances (seven innings) this season.
