INJURY UPDATES

RHP
Injury: Right wrist subsheath tear
Expected return: April or early May
Status: Will throw two innings of live batting practice on March 12. Could get in a game soon thereafter. (Last updated: March 9)

LHP
Injury: Left UCL repair
Expected return: Mid-April to early May
Status: Having a deload week, and will throw extended bullpen session March 12 rather than throw to live hitters. Will resume facing hitters the week of March 16. (Last updated: March 9)

INF
Injury: Left shoulder
Expected return: Will miss significant time at start of season
Status: Set to see Dr. Jeffrey Dugas on March 10 in Alabama to decide whether he will need surgery. Had a PRP injection in early February, and has not participated in any baseball activity. (Last updated: March 7)

INF
Injury: Right shoulder pain
Expected return: 2027, most likely
Status: Likely to require season-ending surgery, but is going to consult with Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles for another opinion. (Last updated: March 3)

RHP
Injury: Torn ulnar collateral ligament right elbow/right flexor pronator strain
Expected return: Late '26 or early '27
Status: Started gradual throwing program on flat ground in the second week of Spring Training. (Last updated: Feb. 16) More >>

Injury: Ruptured patellar tendon, left knee
Expected return: Early in 2026 season
Status: Casas is working out with the team, but is limited in some areas. Opening Day seems unlikely and his fit on the roster is unclear. (Last updated: Feb. 16)
