After an hour rain delay, Friday night’s game against the Doughboys was postponed due to unsafe playing conditions. The game is rescheduled for August 4 as a seven-inning doubleheader in Johnson City.

The River Riders (2-5) will be back in Elizabethton at Northeast Community Credit Union Ballpark Saturday and Sunday as they host the Bluefield Ridge Runners (4-2). Saturday night is "Game Show" night at NCCU ballpark. Fans can enjoy game-show-related festivities the entire night.
