Brendan Rodgers extended his hitting streak to six games and notched the third four-hit game of his career as he went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in Class A Advanced Lancaster's 5-4 win over Visalia.
Rodgers, the No. 12 overall prospect, gave Lancaster an early 1-0 lead with a solo homer, his first of the year in the third inning. The 20-year-old shortstop also singled in the first, sixth and seventh innings.
"He just stayed through the ball pretty good," JetHawks manager Fred Ocasio told MiLB.com of Rodgers' homer. "He got a fastball and drove it into left field. He hit it pretty far."
Colorado's top prospect has hit well lately, with hits in six of seven games played in May. Rodgers is hitting .372 this month and has two or more hits in three of his past four games.
Other top prospect performances from Sunday's action:
• No. 1 overall prospect Yoan Moncada continues to show why he's so highly regarded. The White Sox top prospect notched another multihit game, his fourth over the past five games, as Triple-A Charlotte topped Gwinnett, 7-1. Moncada finished 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and two RBIs. The 21-year-old has hits in 12 of his past 13 contests and is hitting .352 through 27 games this year.

• No. 22 overall prospect Nick Senzel (Reds' No. 1) collected a season-high three RBIs in a 3-for-4 afternoon for Class A Advanced Daytona. Senzel also came up with a big two-run homer, his second of the season, in the bottom of the fifth that helped Daytona come back from a 4-1 deficit and top Jupiter, 5-4.
• No. 25 overall prospect Corey Ray (Brewers' No. 2) drove in three runs for the second time in his career as Class A Advanced Carolina topped Frederick, 5-4. Ray, who finished 2-for-5, came up with a couple of clutch hits as he tied the game with a two-run single in the fourth and won the game with a walk-off double in the 10th.

• No. 30 overall prospect Kyle Tucker (Astros' No. 2) and Jason Martin (Astros' No. 27) put on a power display in Class A Advanced Buies Creek's 12-6 win over Myrtle Beach. Tucker homered twice for the second time in as many games, while Martin turned in the first three-homer game of his career. Tucker, who finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs, is off to a fast start this season with eight homers in 29 games. His career high is nine, set last season. Martin, who now has five homers this season, finished 3-for-6 with a season-high five RBIs.

• No. 60 overall prospect Luke Weaver (Cardinals' No. 3) continues to carve up opposing lineups and has yet to give up a run this season. The 23-year-old right-hander fired seven scoreless frames for Triple-A Memphis, giving up just four hits while striking out four. In two starts since his return from the disabled list (back stiffness), Weaver has struck out nine and given up just seven hits in 13 innings.

• No. 63 overall prospect Carson Fulmer gave up one earned run for the fourth consecutive start. Fulmer gave up three hits and struck out four in six strong innings for Charlotte. The White Sox No. 5 prospect fired 47 of his 78 pitches for strikes and held Gwinnett to a .222 batting-average-against, his lowest number through six starts.
• Braves' No. 12 prospect Austin Riley went 4-for-5 with a homer, two RBIs and a walk-off single in Class A Advanced Florida's 3-2 win over Clearwater. Riley tied the game with a solo homer, his seventh of the season, in the sixth and then won the game in the 10th. The 20-year-old has been heating up recently and has notched two or more hits in three of his past four games.
• Austin Gomber (Cardinals' No. 14) put together arguably his best start of the season for Double-A Springfield, giving up one run on two hits across seven innings. Gomber, a lefty, walked two and struck out three, firing 64 of his 97 pitches for strikes in Springfield's 4-1 win over Tulsa. Gomber has posted a 3.48 ERA through six starts, 31 innings, this season and has thrown six or more frames in four consecutive starts.

• Blue Jays' No. 22 prospect Danny Jansen, who finished finished 4-for-5 with two homers, a double and three RBIs in Dunedin's 16-4 win over Bradenton, had a big day at the plate, but the highlight was certainly the third inning as the catcher went deep twice. Jansen hit a one-one solo homer to begin the scoring, then later bookended the inning with a two-out two-run homer.
"I was sitting next to my hitting coach [Corey Hart] and he said, 'You just hit two home runs in an inning. I don't think I've ever seen that,'" Jansen told MiLB.com. "It finally hit me and I was like, 'Wow, that was something special.' I'm grateful for the opportunity. It was an amazing experience and I'm going to cherish it."

• Tigers' Nos. 2 and 3 prospects Christin Stewart and Beau Burrows put together strong efforts for Double-A Erie and Class A Advanced Lakeland. Stewart went 2-for-6 with two homers and four RBIs for Erie, while Burrows gave up one run (unearned) on five hits in seven innings for Lakeland.
