Pressly set the scoreless streak record in style

BOSTON -- If you’re going to set a Major League record, you may as well do it with style, though not necessarily grace.

Astros reliever polished off his record-breaking 38th consecutive scoreless outing in Friday’s 3-1 win over the Red Sox by making an acrobatic, tumbling play on a Rafael Devers dribbler down the first-base line for the final out of the eighth inning

Pressly fielded the ball near the line as Devers ran past him and threw underhanded to first base while falling in foul territory, tumbling onto the grass to complete the play. Pressly hasn’t allowed a run in 38 2/3 innings and has been scoreless in 31 consecutive road games.
