Skubal pitched three innings against Great Britain on Saturday, allowing a run on two hits while striking out five. After that start, he said he hadn't made a decision yet on whether he would make another appearance for Team USA, but that pitching for his country once had made the back-to-back reigning Cy Young Award winner want to do it one more time.

"This is gonna be one of the tougher decisions I've made in my career so far," Skubal said then.
