The Texas Rangers Youth Academy is once again partnering with the nonprofit organization Education is Freedom to offer a free, semester-long college advisory program designed to guide high school students through each step of the college preparation process.

Beginning Jan. 8, registered Academy athletes will participate in a four-month series of interactive workshops focused on helping them identify the right college fit and navigate the application process with confidence.

These athletes will also learn strategies for managing college costs, developing healthy financial habits and preparing for the realities of campus life.

From budgeting and banking basics to recognizing scams and planning for the future, the sessions aim to equip young people with the knowledge they need to transition from high school to college successfully.

In addition to the group workshops, Education is Freedom will also provide one-on-one advising throughout the semester, giving Academy athletes individualized support as they explore majors and prepare application materials.

Last year, the Rangers Youth Academy saw 30 of its senior athletes in the class of 2025 go on to sign with college baseball and softball programs across the country.
