JUPITER, Fla. – Thomas White, the Marlins' top prospect per MLB Pipeline, was among the seven players reassigned to Minor League camp on Tuesday morning.
The 21-year-old White, who ranks as MLB Pipeline’s No. 17 overall prospect, was recently diagnosed with a Grade 1 right oblique strain. Since the left-hander has a three- to four-week recovery timeline, his Spring Training action had already come to a close.
White made his Grapefruit League debut Thursday in Dunedin against the Blue Jays, allowing two runs in a 28-pitch inning. White will likely begin his 2026 season at Triple-A Jacksonville, where he ended his ‘25 with the Triple-A national champion Jumbo Shrimp.
