Three limited-edition bobbleheads, including a Munetaka Murakami Bobblehead, commemorating the Japanese slugger’s first major league home run, on Sunday, July 26 vs. Houston (15,000 fans), a ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson Bobblehead, presented by the Village of Bedford Park, on Sunday, August 9 vs. Cleveland (15,000 fans) and an Ozzie Guillén and Chuck Garfien Bobblehead, presented by CHSN, on Sunday, July 12 vs. the Athletics (10,000 fans), have been added to the gate giveaway schedule for fans visiting Rate Field.
“We’ve had several unique opportunities to build on an already strong 2026 giveaway lineup,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox chief revenue and marketing officer. “From celebrating storylines like Ozzie’s jersey retirement and Murakami’s immediate on-field impact, to honoring iconic figures in franchise history like ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson, these collectibles connect across generations of White Sox fans. It’s all about listening to our fans and delivering experiences that make every visit to Rate Field even more memorable.”
Additional giveaways and upcoming ballpark programming includes:
- Ozzie Guillén Replica Jersey, presented by Verve, a credit union, for the 2005 World Series-winning Manager’s uniform No. 13 retirement on Saturday, August 8 vs. Cleveland (15,000 fans)
- White Sox Kid-Designed Hat on Childhood Cancer Awareness Day, presented by CIBC, on Sunday, September 6 vs. Minnesota (10,000 fans)
- Gaelic Storm Postgame Concert on Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day, presented by Miller Lite, on Saturday, September 19 vs. Detroit (30-minute set)
The White Sox Kid-Designed Hat, scheduled for September, features design elements created by four-year-old Melanie of Alsip, Illinois, who is currently undergoing a second round of high-dose chemotherapy treatment for medulloblastoma. The resilient and brave artist, who performs the “Macarena” before every radiation session, highlights her love of flowers and showcases personal elements, including her handprints and her own scribbled autograph on the bill.
Starting the St. Patrick’s Day party early this September, the six-time Billboard World Chart-topping Celtic band Gaelic Storm will bring a dynamic live performance to the ballpark for a postgame show. The set will feature rich storytelling from frontman Patrick Murphy, high-energy instrumentals, and deep-rooted Irish traditions. From their beginnings as a pub band in Santa Monica to their breakout appearance in Titanic performing “Irish Party in Third Class,” Gaelic Storm has gone on to headline major Irish festivals and build a reputation for blending Celtic traditions with high-energy stagecraft.
