Two-time National League Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum, who signed an incentive-laden $2.5 million contract with the Angels last month, allowed just one hit over seven innings for the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees on Sunday against the Fresno Grizzlies in Fresno, Calif.
It was likely Lincecum's final Minor League start before being called up to the Majors. Lincecum could join the Angels' rotation as soon as Friday in Oakland.

"I'm in a different place," Lincecum told reporters. "I'm not trying to make my path anymore, I'm trying to recreate it. I feel like the three starts I had definitely got me ready."
Lincecum had season-ending hip surgery in September 2015, and became a free agent after spending his entire nine-year career with the Giants, with whom he won three World Series championships.
The right-hander, who turns 32 on Wednesday, walked one and struck out eight on 89 pitches, 57 of which were strikes. He didn't allow a hit until the sixth inning. Fresno won the game, 1-0, with a run in the eighth.
