ST. PETERSBURG -- Outfielder Tommy Pham won his arbitration case against the Rays, a source confirmed to MLB.com on Tuesday. The club hasn't confirmed the report.
Out of the four arbitration-eligible players the Rays had this offseason, Pham was the only one with which the team was unable to come to a settlement, which resulted in an arbitration hearing.
The 30-year old outfielder will make $4.1 million, while the Rays had offered $3.5 million. It's a significant pay raise for Pham, who made $570,100 last season.

Pham, who was acquired in a July 31 deal from the Cardinals, is expected to be a key piece of Tampa Bay's lineup in 2019. In '17, Pham earned National League Most Valuable Player Award votes after hitting .306 with 23 home runs with St. Louis. After a slow start to the '18 season, the Cardinals dealt Pham to the Rays, with whom he was able to return to form, hitting .343 over the last two months.
This offseason, Tampa Bay shelled out close to $15.1 million combined among Pham, Matt Duffy, Chaz Roe and Mike Zunino, its four arbitration-eligible players.
