Here's a look at Tuesday's top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

Blue Jays: Cavan Biggio, 2B/OF (No. 9) – 1-for-1, HR, 3 RBI; 1-for-2, 2B, BB (Triple-A Buffalo)

After going 1-for-2 with a double in the first half of a doubleheader, Biggio made a big impact in the second game. The 24-year-old only had one at-bat, but he made the most of it with his fifth homer of the season and his second in as many days. Overall, Biggio is hitting .361/.495/.625 this season.

Rays: Garrett Whitley, OF (No. 27) – 1-for-4, 3B, 2 RBI (Class A Advanced Charlotte)
Whitley, who is hitting .229 through 21 games this season, got off to a slow start but has hits in seven of his past eight games, including an extra-base hit in each of the past three games. The 2015 first-round pick hit .249 over 104 games with Class A Bowling Green in 2017, then missed last season after tearing the labrum in his right shoulder in the spring.

Red Sox: Pedro Castellanos, 1B/OF (No. 27) – 2-for-4, 2 2B, RBI (Class A Advanced Salem)
Castellanos, whom the Red Sox signed back in 2015, has been on fire lately and boosted his average from .219 to .292 with four straight multihit games. The 21-year-old is 10-for-16 over that span and is showing that his slow start to the season was little more than a slump. Playing at the Class A level last season, Castellanos hit .302 over 88 games.

Yankees: Josh Breaux, C (No. 15) – 3-for-5, 2 HR, 4 RBI (Class A Charleston)
Breaux, who failed to homer in his 30-game professional debut last season, doubled his home run total this year with his first career two-homer game. The 2018 second-round pick hit a two-run homer in the first and a solo blast in the fourth, extending his season-long hitting streak to five games. Breaux has also picked up multiple RBIs in four straight games and has driven in 18 runs in 18 games this season.

Orioles: Michael Baumann, RHP (No. 26) – 6.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 12 K (Class A Advanced Frederick)
Baumann retired the first 12 batters he faced before issuing a leadoff walk in the fifth in what turned out to be his best start of the season. The right-hander racked up a career-high 12 strikeouts in a strong bounce-back performance. After spinning five scoreless frames in his season debut, Baumann gave up eight runs over seven innings in a two-start span.

AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL

Indians: Oscar Mercado, OF (No. 19) – 1-for-4, RBI (Triple-A Columbus)
Mercado got off to a fast start this season, but has cooled down a bit recently. The 24-year-old was 0-for-13 over a four-game stretch entering play Tuesday. Mercado is hitting .302 through 23 games this season after hitting .278 over 132 games last year.

Royals: Nicky Lopez, SS/2B (No. 8) – 1-for-2, 3 BB, 2 SB (Triple-A Omaha)
Lopez, who is hitting .346 this season, extended his hitting streak to seven games, but showed that he’s capable of getting on base -- and making an impact on the bases -- in more than one way. Lopez drew three walks, a season high, and has now walked six times over his past three games. The two steals brought his season total to five after he swiped 15 bags a season ago.

Twins: Royce Lewis, SS (No. 1, MLB No. 4) – 2-for-4 (Class A Advanced Fort Myers)
Lewis isn’t having the season he hoped for after hitting .292 in his full-season debut last year. The 2017 No. 1 overall pick is hitting just .209 through 23 games this season but does have multiple hits in two of his past three games.

Tigers: Kyle Funkhouser, RHP (No. 11) -- 4 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 7 K (Triple-A Toledo)
Funkhouser spun what was undoubtedly his best start of the season. The Louisville product had allowed 14 earned runs over 13 2/3 innings during his first five starts and had also issued 16 walks (compared to 18 strikeouts) in that span. The 25-year-old appeared to get back into rhythm against Louisville as he threw 48 of his 80 pitches for strikes. Funkhouser did issue a pair of walks, back-to-back to open the fourth inning, but was otherwise solid.

White Sox: Dylan Cease, RHP (No. 3, MLB No. 20) -- 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 11 K (Triple-A Charlotte)
Cease struck out the first two batters he faced, setting the tone for another strong performance. The 23-year-old set a season high for strikeouts as he fanned at least one in each frame he threw. After throwing 10 scoreless innings over his first two starts, Cease has given up nine runs over 13 1/3 innings, bringing his ERA to 3.33. The 2014 Draft pick (Cubs, 6th round) is coming off a stellar 2018 campaign during which he went 12-2 with a 2.40 ERA across two levels.

AMERICAN LEAGUE WEST

Angels: Leonardo Rivas, SS/2B (No. 26) -- 1-for-4, BB (Class A Advanced Inland Empire)
Rivas is now 7-for-15 over his past four games after Tuesday night’s contest. The 21-year-old, who signed with the Angels back in 2014, is hitting .217 through 23 games this season and is looking for a bounceback year after he hit .234 a season ago. Rivas hit .286 in 2017 and .289 in 2016.

Astros: Seth Beer, OF/1B (No. 10) -- 1-for-4 (Class A Advanced Fayetteville)
After going 0-for-11 over his previous four games, Beer got back in the hit column on Tuesday. The 22-year-old, a first-round pick from the 2018 Draft, is hitting .303 through 24 games in his full-season debut. After he was picked 28th overall last season, Beer hit .304 through 67 games across a trio of levels.

A’s: Jorge Mateo, SS (No. 8) -- 2-for-4, 3B, RBI (Triple-A Las Vegas)
Mateo has been red-hot all year and that trend continued with another multihit effort, his 12th (out of 23 games) this season. Mateo, who is batting .352 and has reached base in all 23 games this season, looks to be on the verge of a huge bounceback campaign. The 23-year-old, whom the A’s acquired from the Yankees in 2016, hit .230 over 131 games in Triple-A last year.

Mariners: Jarred Kelenic, OF (No. 2, MLB No. 53) -- 2-for-4, 2B, HR, RBI (Class A West Virginia)
Kelenic wasted no time extending his hitting streak to 15 games as he hit a solo homer, his fifth, in the first inning. The 2018 first-rounder (Mets) later added a double, pushing his average to .337 and giving him eight multihit games during his hitting streak. Kelenic, acquired from the Mets in December, was one of the top high school hitters in last year's Draft class and he's living up to that scouting report in the early days of his first full season.

Rangers: Sam Huff, C/OF (No. 21) -- 1-for-4, HR, RBI (Class A Hickory)
Huff hit a career-high 18 homers over 118 games last season, and it appears as if he’s going to blow that mark out of the water this year -- he’s already hit 12 through 23 games. Huff, the Minor League home run leader, has not only homered in back-to-back games, but he’s also homered in eight of his past 10 games. The 21-year-old, a seventh-round pick from the 2016 Draft, is hitting .325 this season after hitting .241 with Hickory in 2018.

NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST

Braves: Bryse Wilson, RHP (No. 7) -- 4.2 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 7 K (Triple-A Gwinnett)
Wilson threw 41 of his 66 pitches for strikes in his second straight no-decision for the Stripers. The 24-year-old, a fourth-round pick from the 2016 Draft, set a season high for strikeouts in his first start since appearing in two games in the Majors. Wilson gave up nine runs over 11 innings in his first two starts of the season, but spun 5 2/3 innings of one run ball after that and then was called up to Atlanta. In Atlanta, Wilson made one start and appeared in two games, giving up four runs over 4 1/3 innings.

Marlins: Tommy Eveld, RHP (No. 30) -- 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K (Triple-A New Orleans)
Eveld threw 14 of his 19 pitches for strikes as he put together a scoreless inning in relief. Eveld hasn’t allowed an earned run in four of his past five appearances and has struck out three in three straight appearances, although two of those were longer than one inning. The 25-year-old is getting his first taste of Triple-A ball after he posted a 1.07 ERA over 45 games across two levels last season.

Mets: Ryder Ryan, RHP (No. 22) -- 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K (Double-A Binghamton)
Ryan, a 23-year-old whom the Mets acquired from the Indians in 2017, needed just 12 pitches (eight strikes) to throw a clean inning for the Rumble Ponies. Ryan gave up three runs in three innings on April 20, but has otherwise been solid this season and has put up back-to-back scoreless outings.

Phillies: Alec Bohm, 3B (No. 1, MLB No. 56) -- 2-for-4, BB (Class A Advanced Clearwater)
After hitting .367/.441/.595 through 22 games with Class A Lakewood, Bohm was promoted to Clearwater, where he picked up right where he left off. The 22-year-old, a first-rounder out of Wichita State, extended his hitting streak to five games with his 11th multihit effort of the season.

Nationals: Sterling Sharp, RHP (No. 8) -- 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K (Double-A Harrisburg)
After getting tagged for seven runs over 3 2/3 innings in his last start, Sharp bounced back with his second seven-inning start of the season. Sharp, a 22nd-round Draft pick (2016), threw 64 of his 94 pitches for strikes and matched his season high with six strikeouts.

NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL

Brewers: Payton Henry, C (No. 10) -- 1-for-4, BB (Class A Advanced Carolina)
Henry has struggled offensively since the Brewers selected him in the sixth round of the 2016 Draft. Henry hit .256 that summer and then hit .242 in 2017 and .234 in 2018. The 2019 sample size is certainly small, but the 21-year-old is hitting .284 and has hits in 20 of the 25 games he’s played.

Cubs: Oscar De La Cruz, RHP (No. 22) -- 4 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 6 K (Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach)
De La Cruz’s season got off to a late start as he had to serve the remainder of an 80-game suspension that he incurred late in 2018. Back on the mound, the 24-year-old has been sharp this season, yielding just two earned runs over 15 innings. De La Cruz has increased his pitch total in each of the three starts and threw 97 pitches (57 strikes) against Down East on Tuesday. The four walks bring De La Cruz’s season total to five, but he’s also racked up 17 strikeouts. Prior to his suspension, De La Cruz posted a 5.24 ERA in 16 starts with Double-A Tennessee last season.

Cardinals: Johan Oviedo, RHP (No. 19) -- 6 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 7 K (Class A Advanced Palm Beach)
Oviedo brought his strikeout total up to 35 (through 33 2/3 innings) with his second seven-strikeout game of the season. The 21-year-old, who signed with the Cardinals back in 2016, has pitched into the sixth inning in four of his six starts this season and boasts a 1.60 ERA early in the year. While the numbers look good so far, Oviedo has issued 12 walks this season, a trend that may eventually come back to hurt him.

Pirates: Cody Bolton, RHP (No. 27) -- 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K (Class A Advanced Bradenton)
Bolton has surrendered one earned run or fewer in each of his five starts this season after his latest gem for the Marauders. The 20-year-old has a minuscule 0.96 ERA this season and has amassed 29 strikeouts, compared to seven walks, over 28 innings. After the Pirates grabbed Bolton in the sixth round of the 2017 Draft he posted a 3.16 ERA in Rookie ball and then went 3-3 with a 3.65 ERA last year in his full-season debut, though he was shut down early with forearm tightness.

Reds: Jose Israel Garcia, SS/2B (No. 9) -- 2-for-5, RBI (Class A Advanced Daytona)
Garcia began the season on the injured list, but has picked up at least one hit in four of the five games he’s played. Garcia signed with the Reds in June 2017, but didn’t play until 2018. The 21-year-old hit .202 in the first half of the year but then impressed in the second half as he hit .277/.322/.398.

NATIONAL LEAGUE WEST

D-backs: Blaze Alexander, SS (No. 9) -- 1-for-4, 2B, RBI (Class A Kane County)
Alexander may turn out to be the steal of the 2018 Draft. After the D-backs grabbed Alexander in the 11th-round, 339th overall, he went out and hit .329 through 59 games in his pro debut. Alexander’s full-season debut got off to a late start and he’s only played in five games so far and is hitting .167 (3-for-18).

Giants: Jake Wong, RHP (No. 7) -- 6 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K (Class A Augusta)
It's hard to be any more dominant than Wong, as he retired 13 of the first 14 batters he faced and ultimately faced just one over the minimum as he spun six no-hit innings. Wong, a third-round pick from last year's Draft, lowered his ERA to 2.78 and has allowed one run or fewer in three of his five starts this season. Wong threw 45 of his 76 pitches for strikes and has 22 strikeouts over 22 2/3 innings this season.

Dodgers: Jeter Downs, SS/2B (No. 7) -- 3-for-4, 2 2B, HR, 2 RBI (Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga)
Downs, acquired by the Dodgers back in December as part of the Yasiel Puig trade, has been off to a slow start, hitting .213 through 22 games, in his first season with the Dodgers organization. The 20-year-old was mired in a 3-for-25 (.120) slump entering play Tuesday, but turned in his first three-hit game of the season, all of which went for extra-bases.

Padres: Tucupita Marcano, 2B (No. 21) -- 4-for-5, 2 RBI (Class A Fort Wayne)
Marcano set a career high with four hits and is hitting .267 through 22 games in his full-season debut. The 19-year-old signed with the Padres in 2016 and after hitting .206 in 49 games in 2017, Marcano exploded and hit .366 over 52 games last year.

Rockies: Rico Garcia, RHP (No. 21) -- 6.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 11 K (Double-A Hartford)
Garcia retired 13 of the first 14 batters he faced, seven via strikeout, as he spun his first scoreless start of the season. The 11 strikeouts marked a career high for the 30th-round pick (2016), who has been putting together a pretty impressive campaign. Garcia, who has allowed one run or fewer in four of his five starts, has a 1.82 ERA and 35 strikeouts through 24 innings.
