Oh snap! Park participates in Snapchat Day

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Byung Ho Park is learning more and more about American culture each day.
Two weeks ago, Park was introduced to reality television when he watched "The Bachelor" with his teammates at Phil Hughes' place. On Friday, it was an introduction to Snapchat, as part of MLB's #SnapChatDay.
When asked to say a message in a video post on Snapchat, Park, whose English is improving, promptly asked, "Snapchat. What is Snapchat?" It drew laughter from those around him. But Park, who hit his third homer of the spring in a 6-5 loss to the Marlins, ended up posting a quick video message and was also followed as he walked from the tunnel onto the field.

Snapchat Day allowed fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Twins as they hosted the Marlins at Hammond Stadium. Several other players participated, including bearded reliever Aaron Thompson, who joked into the camera, "I'm more than just a face covered in fur. I'm a person, too."
Even general manager Terry Ryan got in on the action, as he did an introductory video to set up the day on Snapchat. The behind-the-scenes videos also featured looks at Joe Mauer taking batting practice, Kurt Suzuki catching Kyle Gibson in the bullpen before the game, the national anthem and live looks from the dugout throughout the contest.
