MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins left fielder moved up two places in the voting for American League outfielders in the second AL All-Star ballot update, which was released Tuesday.
VOTE: 2018 Camping World MLB All-Star Ballot
Rosario, who is hitting .321/.359/.579 with 16 homers, 20 doubles and 46 RBIs in 68 games this season, moved up from 14th to 12th among AL outfielders, receiving 248,451 votes. But he has a long way to go to catch the top three of Boston's (1,568,417), Los Angeles' (1,323,292) and New York's (1,061,370).
Rosario, though, ranks fourth among AL outfielders in Wins Above Replacement, according to Fangraphs.com. Trout leads at 6.1, while Betts is at 4.2, Judge is at 3.5 and Rosario is at 3.2.
Shortstop is also making a strong push to be an All-Star, but he didn't rank among the top five shortstops. Escobar is hitting .302/.353/.579 with 12 homers, a Major League-leading 30 doubles and 45 RBIs in 65 games. He ranks fifth among AL shortstops with a 2.4 WAR.
