Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association jointly announced today the latest COVID-19 testing results conducted under MLB’s COVID-19 Health Monitoring & Testing Plan. The independent Utah laboratory has reported the following results during the past week:

Weekly Monitoring Testing:

• 12,494 tests conducted, with 4 new positive tests (1 Major League player, 1 Alternate Site player and 2 staff members); a 0.03% positive rate.

Total Monitoring Testing To Date:

• 99,599 tests conducted, with 25 total positive tests (17 players, 8 staff members); a 0.03% positive rate. Fourteen (14) different Clubs have had a Covered Individual test positive during Monitoring Testing.

Total Testing (Monitoring + Intake Testing):

• 105,633 tests conducted, with 43 total positive tests (30 players, 13 staff members); a 0.04% positive rate. Twenty (20) different Clubs have had a Covered Individual test positive since the start of Intake Screening.
