Team to watch
Though Baltimore had an MLB-high five Top 30 prospects crack their Opening Day roster, including former top prospect Dylan Bundy, the best collection of future Orioles are slated to begin the season at Double-A Bowie. Trey Mancini, the 2015 Eastern League MVP, will return to anchor Bowie's lineup for a second straight season, and 21-year-old catcher Chance Sisco will join him after showing well in his first taste of the level late last season. The Baysox projected starting rotation also offers plenty of intrigue with four Top 30 prospects in Chris Lee, Jason Garcia, David Hess and Joe Gunkel.

New faces
The Orioles added to their strong Rule 5 Draft track record this year with the selection of Joey Rickard from the Rays' system. The 24-year-old outfielder earned a spot on the Orioles' roster by hitting .397/.472/.571 with eight extra-base hits, eight RBIs and five steals during Spring Training, and then went 2-for-4 with a double in his big league debut on Opening Day.
On the shelf
Branden Kline, the Orioles' second-round Draft pick in 2013, is expected to miss the entire season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in early October. The 24-year-old righty pitched to a 3.66 ERA over eight starts at Bowie last season before he suffered the elbow injury.
