PHOENIX -- The Dodgers committed four errors in a 14-run ninth inning as the White Sox stormed to a 15-5 win in a game of split squads Sunday night at Camelback Ranch-Glendale.
The winning rally included a three-run homer by Jason Bourgeois. The Dodgers used four pitchers in the ninth, but they were undermined by errors from third baseman Erick Mejia, pitcher Andrew Istler, shortstop Omar Estevez and left fielder Yusniel Diaz. The Dodgers actually led early on Bobby Wilson's two-run homer.

Bourgeois also had a two-run single in the inning.
Starter Alex Wood pitched three solid innings for the Dodgers and was given a lead when Wilson, trying to win the backup catcher's competition with Austin Barnes, followed a walk to Scott Van Slyke in the second inning with a home run off Chicago starter Derek Holland, who struck out four in 3 2/3 innings.

"Alex was sharp, velocity good, he pitched efficient," manager Dave Roberts said of Wood. "We got everything we wanted out of Alex."
"The big thing was going down and away," Holland said. "I thought today was a really good job with Geo [Soto]. We were on the same page. There was one pitch that got away and hats off to Bobby. I've thrown to him before so I think he knew it was coming. But this is Spring Training. We work on these kind of thing.
"Main thing is I'm very happy with the changeups. Location wise went pretty well. The only thing I was disappointed in was elevating. I was going too high. It's like you aren't even giving them a chance to see it. Overall I did a good job of attacking for the most part. I feel good. I'm very happy with everything."
The White Sox had taken a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a walk by Adam Engel and singles by Tim Anderson and Melky Cabrera. Wood, competing for a starting rotation spot, limited the damage, striking out Matt Davidson and Yoan Moncada to strand two runners. Davidson and Moncada struck out four times each and the team a total of 13.

The Dodgers added to their lead in the fifth inning off Jake Petricka on a one-out single by John Forsythe and a two-out double by Franklin Gutierrez.
