Earlier today, Major League Baseball announced the 2020 Phillies Spring Training schedule.

The club will kick off Spring Training in Lakeland, Fla. against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, February 22, followed by their Grapefruit League home opener on Sunday, February 23, against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Fla.

The official Phillies Spring Training schedule features 17 home games at Spectrum Field, including matchups against the Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Rays.

Another highlight is the annual St. Patrick's Day game against the Blue Jays on Tuesday, March 17. Then on Monday, March 23, the Phillies will host the Rays for their final Spring Training matchup.

Three days later, the Phillies will play their regular season opener in Miami, Fla. on Thursday, March 26 against the Marlins. The club will then host the Milwaukee Brewers for its Home Opener at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday, April 2.
