Earlier today, Major League Baseball released the 2022 spring training schedule. Please find some Yankees schedule notes and highlights below.

The Yankees play their home spring games at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. For information about the venue, spring training tickets and the Low-A Tampa Tarpons, who call Steinbrenner Field their home, please visit gmsfield.com.

YANKEES 2022 SPRING SCHEDULE NOTES:

• Have 32 games scheduled, 16 at home and 16 on the road, including games against all four AL East rivals (Baltimore-3, Boston-2, Toronto-5, Tampa Bay-2).
• Will open their 2022 spring slate with split squad games on 2/26 vs. Philadelphia (at Steinbrenner Field) and at Baltimore.
• Will play eight of their 16 home games on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, including Friday & Saturday games on 3/4-5 (vs. Baltimore and St. Louis), 3/11-12 (vs. Detroit and Pittsburgh) and 3/25-26 (vs. Washington and Philadelphia).
• Will face the Red Sox on 2/27 at Fort Myers and 3/7 at Steinbrenner Field.
• Will play Philadelphia more than any other team, with six games scheduled (2/26, 3/16 and 3/26 at Steinbrenner Field, and 3/2, 3/10 and 3/22 in Clearwater).
• Visit the East Coast of Florida on 3/18 at Washington and 3/19 at St. Louis.
• Will play their final home game on 3/26 vs. Philadelphia and close out their spring slate on 3/27 at Detroit.
