KANSAS CITY -- For one weekend each month throughout the 2018 season, fans at Kauffman Stadium will be treated to a unique and memorable experience as the Club shows what has made the Royals, fans and Kansas City so special over the last 50 seasons. During these themed weekends, Royals alumni will participate in special in-park recognitions and select events throughout the community (to be announced at a later date). Fans will also enjoy nostalgic in-park video retrospectives, special guests and autograph opportunities along with one-of-a-kind 50th Season giveaway items. MAY 19 & 20: ROYALS LEGENDS
Fans know their Royals heroes by heart, so on May 19 and 20 when the Royals host the New York Yankees, the Club will reflect, re-live greatness and honor those that have given us unforgettable moments.
Saturday, May 19 - Royals vs. New York Yankees, 6:15 p.m.
The Royals will look back at many great moments throughout Royals history. Royals players will wear 1969 Vintage Royals jerseys during the game that evening.
Special Event: A special version of the annual Royals Authentics Legends Night will take place featuring former outfielders Carlos Beltran, Johnny Damon and Jermaine Dye. Fans can purchase exclusive Legends Night autograph tickets that allow them one autograph from each player prior to the game. Tickets are extremely limited and must be purchased online at www.royals.com/legendsnight.
Giveaway: In addition, the first 20,000 fans will receive a George Brett Pine Tar Bobblehead, courtesy of KCP&L.
