A’s Announce 2024 Regular Season Schedule

July 13th, 2023

OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s will open the 2024 season at the Oakland Coliseum on Thursday, March 28, against the Cleveland Guardians. Following a four-game set versus Cleveland, the A’s will take on the Boston Red Sox for three games. This will mark the seventh time the A’s have faced the Guardians on Opening Day and their sixth time hosting them for the opener.

The seven-game homestand kicks off the Club’s 81-game home slate, which features series against eight National League clubs, along with a scheduled straight doubleheader on May 8 vs. Texas. The A’s will face all 15 National League teams in one season for the second time, playing two two-game series with the San Francisco Giants and a three-game series with each of the remaining 14 teams. The A’s will host the Washington Nationals, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Miami Marlins, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Milwaukee Brewers.

The A’s will play at home for two of the summer’s most popular holidays, including Independence Day (vs. Los Angeles Angels) and Labor Day (Sept. 2 vs. Seattle). The A’s and Giants will conclude their Spring Training slates with exhibition games in Oakland (March 25) and San Francisco (March 26). The two teams will later square off for their annual Bay Bridge Series, with the A’s traveling across the Bay to San Francisco July 30–31 and hosting the Giants Aug. 17–18.
