A's reinstate SS Marcus Semien from paternity list

The Oakland A's reinstated shortstop Marcus Semien from the paternity list, the club announced today.
 
Semien was batting .240 with a career-high 23 home runs and a career-high 55 RBI in 124 games when he was placed on the paternity list Wednesday. He appeared in each of the A's first 124 games and had a consecutive games played streak of 126 before missing Monday's game for the birth of his child. Semien takes the roster spot of Marc Rzepczynski, who was traded to Washington yesterday.
