Today the St. Louis Cardinals released its 2018 promotional schedule with over 40 unique giveaways for ticketed-fans at cardinals.com/promotions.
This year's promotional schedule features many fan-favorite giveaways including six bobbleheads, six replica jerseys, two replica rings, as well as brand-new items like a "Yadi" Tumbler (June 1), Adult & Kids Bucket Hats (July 1), Dizzy Dean Watch (August 19) and an Adult Winter Hat with Flaps (September 23). The Cardinals will continue to provide more fans the opportunity to take home a stadium giveaway by keeping the item quantity at 30,000 for a majority of the promotional dates.
New to the promotions schedule in 2018 is the addition of six different "T-Shirt of the Month" giveaways in which fans will have the opportunity to vote on several special design options via social media. The winning design will be made into a unique Cardinals t-shirt for 20,000 fans ages 16 & older to take home on one weekday game per month.
In May, the Cardinals will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 National League Championship team. To celebrate, fans will take home a Bob Gibson Pitching Rubber (May 18) and a replica 1968 National League Championship ring (May 19). The club will also celebrate its Hall of Fame Weekend (August 17-19) with three great items to commemorate the fifth induction class.
Additional highlights include a Mystery Hall of Fame Opening Day Car Parade Bobblehead (April 7), a Yadier Molina Kids "Players Weekend" Jersey (April 22), a Rawlings Kids Baseball Glove (May 20), a Carlos Martínez Mystery Hair Bobblehead (June 30), a Hall of Fame Mystery Baseball Cap (August 18), a Replica 1928 Jersey (September 14), a Mark McGwire Bobblehead (September 16) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 1998 home run chase and an Adult Cardinals Hockey Jersey (September 21).
Tickets for 2018 promotional giveaway dates are currently only available by purchasing Cardinals season tickets. Fans will be able to purchase tickets to select promotional games when Holiday Packs and All-Inclusive Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 1, at 10:00 a.m. CT.
