Cardinals to host Stanley Cup on June 26

Team to celebrate Blues’ championship victory with special ceremonies; tickets available to 6:15 pm game vs. Athletics featuring Blues T-shirt promo item

ST. LOUIS, Mo., June 22, 2019 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced the Stanley Cup will make an appearance at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, June 26th when the team takes on the Oakland Athletics at 6:15 p.m.

The St. Louis Cardinals will celebrate the St. Louis Blues’ Stanley Cup victory by featuring the Cup with Blues players during pre-game and in-game ceremonies on the field.

St. Louis Blues players scheduled to appear at Busch Stadium include Conn Smythe winner Ryan O’Reilly, Vladimir Tarasenko and St. Louis native, Pat Maroon. Also attending with the Stanley Cup are members of the coaching staff—Craig Berube, Steve Ott, Mike Van Ryn, David Alexander and Sean Ferrell.

20,000 fans ages 16 & older will take home a "Gloria-ous" T-shirt, courtesy of TD Ameritrade. The T-shirt highlights the St. Louis Blues and their historic postseason run, as well as Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina.
