Colorado Rockies 2017 schedule announced

In collaboration with Major League Baseball, the Rockies announced today their full 162-game schedule for the 2017 Major League Baseball Season.

In collaboration with Major League Baseball, the Rockies announced today their full 162-game schedule for the 2017 Major League Baseball Season.
The Rockies open the 2017 campaign on the road at Milwaukee for a four-game series, April 3-6, before returning home to Coors Field to host the Los Angeles Dodgers for three games, beginning with the club's Home Opener, on Friday, April 7 at 2:10 p.m. MT.
The Rockies schedule also includes home games at Coors Field on Mother's Day (May 14 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers), Memorial Day (May 29 vs. Seattle), Father's Day (June 18 vs. San Francisco), Independence Day (July 4 vs. Cincinnati) and Labor Day (Sept. 4 vs. San Francisco).
The annual fireworks shows are scheduled for Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 after games against the Reds, as well as Friday, Sept. 29 following the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Rockies Interleague schedule has them playing all five American League Central teams for the first time since 2014, along with the American League West's Seattle Mariners. Colorado will host the Seattle Mariners (May 29-30), Cleveland Indians (June 6-7), Chicago White Sox (July 7-9) and Detroit Tigers (Aug. 28-30) at Coors Field.
Colorado will play the standard 19 games against each of their four National League West rivals, hosting 10 games against the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants and nine games against the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres. The Rockies conclude their 2017 regular season at home with a three-game series vs. the Dodgers, Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
