Rockies reinstate left-handed pitcher Harrison Musgrave

The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have reinstated left-handed pitcher Harrison Musgrave from the 10-day disabled list and have placed left-handed pitcher Chris Rusin on the 10-day DL with left plantar fasciitis.

The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have reinstated left-handed pitcher Harrison Musgrave from the 10-day disabled list and have placed left-handed pitcher Chris Rusin on the 10-day DL with left plantar fasciitis.
 
•  Musgrave, 26, was placed on the disabled list on July 14 with a right hip flexor strain … has gone 1-3 with a 4.76 ERA (28.1 IP, 15 ER), 16 walks and 20 strikeouts in 20 appearances since having his contract selected on April 23 … made his Major League debut against San Diego on April 23 and pitched one scoreless inning of relief with one strikeout … the Nutter Fort, W.V., native has gone 31-19 with a 4.02 ERA (413.2 IP, 185 ER) in 80 career Minor League games, 78 starts, since 2014.
•  Rusin, 31, has gone 0-2 with a 6.81 ERA (39.2 IP, 30 ER), 20 walks and 34 strikeouts in 35 relief appearances this season … this will be his second stint on the disabled list this season after being placed on the 10-day DL April 23 with a right intercostal strain … made a career-high 60 relief appearances in 2017, going 5-1 with a career-best 2.65 ERA (85.0 IP, 25 ER) … in 172 career appearances, including 49 starts, across parts of seven seasons with Chicago-NL (2012-14) and Colorado (2015-18), has gone 18-27 with two saves, a 4.57 ERA (449.1 IP, 228 ER), 143 walks and 325 strikeouts.
The Rockies currently have a full 40-man roster.
