LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers added right-handed pitcher Carlos Duran to the 40-man roster and designated catcher Chuckie Robinson for assignment.
Duran, 24, has appeared in 30 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 2-2 with a 3.86 ERA. He has 50 strikeouts in 35.0 innings while limiting hitters to a .203 batting average. He made his Major League debut last season on May 22 against the Angels as a member of the Athletics, allowing three runs in 0.1 innings. In seven minor league seasons, he is 10-22 with a 4.23 ERA and 443 strikeouts in 364.0 innings. The Dominican native was signed as an international free agent on March 8, 2018 by the Dodgers and reacquired on a minor-league contract December 12, 2025.
