Dodgers Foundation 5K & 10K Run and Kids Fun Run to be held Sunday

The fourth annual New Balance Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K & 10K Run and Kids Fun Run presented by Gazillion Bubbles will be held at Dodger Stadium this Sunday, October 1. The sold-out event is expected to draw nearly 7,000 participants between the three runs, and Dodger Alumni League members Al Ferrara, Mickey Hatcher and Kenny Landreaux will serve as grand marshals.
Registered runners are encouraged to pick up race packets on Saturday, Sept. 30 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Top of the Park, where the race EXPO will also be open. In addition, the Dodgers' Top of the Park Merchandise store will be offering a 20% off merchandise to runners with their race bib on Saturday.

All proceeds from the event will support LADF's programs and grants to non-profits in the greater Los Angeles area. Additionally, this year, LADF will host over 500 youth for the 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run from three local non-profits - just keep livin' Foundation, Marathon Kids and Students Run LA - that provide tools to youth to lead active and healthy lives.
