Dodgers recall RHP Casey Sadler

RHP Dylan Floro placed on 10-day injured list

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers today recalled right-handed pitcher Casey Sadler and placed right-handed pitcher Dylan Floro on the 10-day injured list with neck inflammation.

Sadler, 29, is making his second stint with the club after being recalled on Monday night. He has appeared in two games for the Dodgers, tossing 2.2 innings, allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts. The righty has appeared in 11 Major League games this season, allowing five runs in 22.0 innings of work for a 2.05 ERA for the Tampa Bay Rays and the Dodgers. In parts of four Major League seasons, the Oklahoma native is 1-1 with a 4.32 ERA (20 ER/41.2 IP) and 28 strikeouts in 20 games. He was acquired by the Dodgers on July 3 from Tampa Bay in exchange for Nathan Witt.

Floro, 28, heads to the injured list for the first time this season and his career. The former Cal State Fullerton Titan is 4-3 with a 4.11 ERA (16 ER/35.0 IP) and 30 strikeouts in 37 games this season. The righty was originally acquired on July 4, 2018 from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for James Marinan and Aneirys Zabala. In 66 games since joining the Dodgers, Floro is 7-4 with a 3.02 ERA (21 ER/62.2 IP) and 61 strikeouts.
