E-Waste Recycling Drives May 4-6

PNC, The Reds and Cohen Recycling are joining forces again with many of Cincinnati's leading corporations for the 8th annual PNC/Reds E-Waste Recycling Drives on May 4-6.

April 12th, 2017

PNC, The Reds and Cohen Recycling are joining forces again with many of Cincinnati's leading corporations for the 8th annual PNC/Reds E-Waste Recycling Drives on May 4-6, 2017.
The e-waste recycling drives provide a safe and easy opportunity for Reds fans and residents of Greater Cincinnati to recycle old electronics responsibly.
The public is encouraged to visit three convenient locations with their electronic waste for recycling:
Thursday, May 4 (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
• PNC Bank/Kroger - Northgate Square: 9650 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45251
Friday, May 5 (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
• PNC Bank - Deerfield Township: 5283 Bowen Drive, Mason, OH 45040
Saturday, May 6 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
• PNC Bank/Kroger - Hyde Park Plaza: 3740 Paxton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209
Cohen accepts personal computers, cell phones, power cords, monitors, televisions, small home appliances and most other electronics. The full list of acceptable electronics is listed at: cohenusa.com/reds.
The first 400 cars at each event will receive two free tickets to a select 2017 regular season Reds game.
A minimum donation of $10 per car is suggested to offset recycling costs and to benefit the Reds Community Fund.
A CRT television or monitor can contain more than six pounds of lead, which poses very serious health risks if not properly recycled.
Last year's recycling drives collected about 175,000 pounds of electronic waste from over 1,900 cars.
Since the drives began in 2010, over 1 million pounds of e-waste has been diverted from landfills
Sponsors who make this event possible include PNC, Cohen Recycling, Macy's, TriHealth, CBTS, Kroger and Duke Energy.
Organizing partners include Green Umbrella, City of Cincinnati Office of Environment & Sustainability, Hamilton County Recycling & Solid Waste, Warren County Solid Waste Management, and the City of Mason.
Cohen Recycling is a proud sponsor of the Cincinnati Reds
