The Cleveland Indians announced today that newly signed slugger Edwin Encarnación will appear at the club's fifth annual Tribe Fest event, presented by KeyBank, on Jan. 28.

Additionally, the afternoon (2-7PM) session of Tribe Fest has sold out.

A limited number of tickets remain for the morning session (9AM-2PM), and the club is expecting those to sell out and encourages fans to purchase quickly.

This year's Tribe Fest will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel near the campus of Cleveland Clinic. As construction continues on the service level at Progressive Field, the Indians - based on fan feedback from last year's event, also off site -- have moved this year's event to the Intercontinental, a larger venue to accommodate more fans after the Tribe's run to the World Series.

Scheduled to appear at the fifth annual event are Cy Young finalist Corey Kluber, Francisco Lindor, Cody Allen, Carlos Carrasco, Carlos Santana, Josh Tomlin, Andrew Miller, Jose Ramirez, Roberto Perez, Trevor Bauer, Tyler Naquin, Zach McAllister, Abraham Almonte and more players from the American League champions.

Alumni scheduled to attend include Ellis Burks, Mike Hargrove, Mike Jackson, Chad Ogea and Jaret Wright. (All player and alumni appearances are subject to change.)

Other current players, Tribe coaches and alumni, and executives also will be on hand, with names being announced as appearances are confirmed.

General Admission tickets are $5 for adults and kids, and tickets are available online only, at Indians.com/TribeFest.

Over 5,000 combined spaces, at $10, will be allotted in garages surrounding the venue located on the Clinic campus. Garages labeled BBS and BBN are conveniently connected to the Intercontinental by a skyway that will take fans directly into Tribe Fest registration area on the third floor of the Intercontinental.

Valet parking will be available as well as the East 105th Street parking garage.

If autograph sessions are not sold out, fans will be allowed to wait in line for autographs, time permitting and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In order to maximize the amount of fans able to experience each autograph session at Tribe Fest, the purchase of autograph tickets has been limited to four per autograph session per transaction. Additionally, only one autograph session ticket per person will be honored at each autograph station.

ACTIVITIES
Celebrity bartending
Various Indians players, coaches and executives will participate in celebrity bartending at the Intercontinental's Falcon Study, offering fans (ages 21 and over) another chance to interact with players closely. Those sessions will take place from 2:15-3:15PM and 4:45-5:45PM. (Separate tickets [$45], in addition to general admission tickets, are required for entry into celebrity bartending events. A portion of bar sales will benefit Cleveland Indians Charities.)
