COMEDIAN JEFF DYE FIRST PITCH: Comedian Jeff Dye will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Dye was featured in the hit TV show "Better Late than Never."
 
DOG DAYS OF SUMMER: Fans can enjoy the game with their canine friend from the PetSmart Patio. Fans can use the PetSmart Dog Park and treat their dog to doggy concession favorites such as doggy ice cream. GONZO'S HOMETOWN HEROES: The D-backs will recognize David Foster for performing CPR to save a man's life in Tempe, as well as Frances Gauthreaux for dedicating herself as an advocate for the Down Syndrome community. David and Frances will be recognized on the field alongside Luis Gonzalez and will receive a D-backs jersey and gift bag. Fans can nominate local hometown heroes at dbacks.com/gonzo.

THROWBACK THURSDAY, presented by Chase: The D-backs celebrate their 20th Anniversary this season and will wear the uniforms of various Postseason teams while highlighting those years. This Thursday, the team will wear the 2017 home teal uniform and celebrate the 2017 N.L. Wild Card winning team. The game-worn uniforms will be available for purchase at D-backs Authentics after the game. Every Thursday home game will be deemed part of the D-backs Throwback Thursdays (#DbacksTBT), presented by Chase, and fans can expect to see a retro feel incorporated in game elements at Chase Field, including signage, video and photos on dbTV. Fans are encouraged to wear the throwback jerseys and shirts on Throwback Thursdays and the Chase Field Team Shop will offer a wide variety of items featuring the retro colors for fans to purchase. Chase credit or debit card users will receive special offers each Thursday, including: 

• 30-percent discount on ticket pricing on select areas in the ballpark 
• $25 D-bucks card when they spend $75 in the Team Shop 
• Cracker Jack or Peanuts at Taste of Chase or Oasis in the Sandlot for only $1

UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA NIGHT: U of A Night will consist of several Wildcat elements, including a first pitch by U of A Women's Golf Coach Laura Ianello. The national anthem will be performed by the U of A Community Chorus and color guard by U of A Air Force ROTC. Wilbur & Wilma will be featured throughout the night along with Wildcat Cheerleaders, Pride of Arizona Pep Band and the Pomline. The D-backs have sold out of a special U of A Night ticket package, which included a discounted ticket and a custom D-backs U of A cap. 
 
BASEBALL TOMORROW FUND: The Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF), through MLB and the MLBPA, awards grants to organizations involved in the operation of youth baseball and softball programs and facilities. As a part of one of BTF's Equipment Day, local high schools donated used equipment. In conjunction with collection, a $5,000 grant to a youth baseball or softball organization is awarded. Donations were received from Corona Del Sol High School and Scottsdale Little League. A pre-game check presentation for the $5,000 grant will be awarded to Tempe Guadalupe Little League.

GIRL SCOUT DAY:
The D-backs will host Girl Scouts families in coordination with GSACPC. With each ticket purchased for a Girl Scout, the dad's ticket (or father-figure) is free. Participants will be able to take part in a Girl Scout parade on the field, receive a D-backs patch and meet D-backs executives at a private meet & greet. D-BACKS WIVES' "FAVORITE THINGS" AUCTION: D-backs wives and girlfriends of current players and coaches have put together baskets full of their "Favorite Things" and will include autographed memorabilia that will be available for auction. The auction will begin when gates open through the end of the 7th inning at section 131. Proceeds will benefit The Singletons, an Arizona non-profit dedicated to providing support to single parent families affected by cancer.
 
EDUCATORS RISING ARIZONA:
The D-backs will recognize members of Educators Rising Arizona in a pregame ceremony. Educators Rising is a free national membership organization for that links aspiring teachers with mentors. Educators Rising serves in 27 states nationwide, and serves more than 43,000 students.

Community Events
20th ANNIVERSARY EXPERIENCE: Fans are encouraged to check out the 20th Anniversary Experience at every D-backs home game at Chase Field. The Experience is a 2,000 square-foot exhibit at Chase Field, located on the main concourse in right field behind the Coors Light Strike Zone. It features historic artifacts, memorabilia and photography celebrating the team's history and a wall featuring baseballs signed by nearly all D-backs players and coaches. The Experience also includes a showcase of the team's 2001 World Series championship and each Silver Slugger, Gold Glove and Cy Young Award won by a D-backs player. D-BACKS AUTHENTICS: The D-backs sell game-used and authenticated merchandise ranging from game-used bases, jerseys, bats, balls and lineup cards to autographed merchandise. D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.
 
SOL LA TERRAZA: Fans can enjoy a Latin vibe in the Upper Right Field Concourse at every Friday, Saturday and Sunday home game, which includes specialized décor, Latin music and authentic regional food and La Carreta de Lily.
