Homestand Highlights June 23-29

This homestand will be highlighted by weekend celebrations of the Big Red Machine and Pete Rose, along with Reds Racing Night.

Thursday, June 23, 2016 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 7:10 p.m. (Thirsty Thursday)
• Cincinnati Zoo Night: Animals from the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will parade around the warning track before the game at approximately 6:35 p.m. and be on display in the Kroger Fan Zone from 5:40 to 6:15 p.m. and during the first inning.
• Bald Eagle Flight: "Sam" the Bald Eagle from the Cincinnati Zoo will perform a flight from the Cincinnati Bell Riverboat Deck in center field to the pitcher's mound during the singing of the National Anthem. This is the third of five scheduled flights for Sam during the 2016 regular season. Sam began making these flights in 2004.
• Reds Community Advocate Award: Shakila Ahmad, president of the board of the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, will receive a Reds Community Advocate Award. Shakila currently serves on the board of directors of many Cincinnati organizations and has dedicated herself to community enriching endeavors for the past 20 years.
Friday, June 24, 2016 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 7:10 p.m. (Pregame ceremonies start at 6:30 p.m., Fireworks Friday)
• 1976 World Series Champions: Starting at 6:30 p.m., 20 members of the Big Red Machine, including Pete Rose, Johnny Bench and Tony Perez, will be introduced on the field to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1976 World Series.
• 1976 Team Photo: All fans will receive a 1976 Reds team photo, presented by Coca-Cola.
• Throwback Uniforms: Reds players and coaches will wear 1976 throwback uniforms.
• Fireworks Friday: Postgame fireworks show featuring music from 1976, presented by Cooper Tire.
Saturday, June 25, 2016 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 4:10 p.m. (Pregame ceremonies start at 3:30 p.m., Super Saturday)
• Reds Hall of Fame Induction: Starting at 3:30 p.m., on-field ceremonies to induct Pete Rose into the Reds Hall of Fame, presented by PNC Bank. Marty Brennaman will be the master of ceremonies and Pete will address the crowd. Over 20 Reds Hall of Famers will be in attendance, including Johnny Bench, Barry Larkin and Eric Davis.
• Pete Rose poster: As part of Super Saturdays, all fans will receive a commemorative Pete Rose poster featuring the Topps baseball cards from his Reds career, presented by Yucatan Guacamole.
Sunday, June 26, 2016 - Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 1:10 p.m. (Pregame ceremonies start at 12:30 p.m., Family Sunday)
• Pete Rose No. 14 Jersey Retirement: Starting at 12:30 p.m., on-field ceremony to retire Pete Rose's No. 14 jersey will include appearances by previous Reds legends who have their numbers retired - Johnny Bench (#5), David Concepcion (#13), Barry Larkin (#11) and Tony Perez (#24).
• Pete Rose Retirement Print: All fans will receive a commemorative Pete Rose print, presented by John Morrell.
• Devin Mesoraco Fathead®: As part of family day at the ballpark, free Devin Mesoraco Fathead® to kids 14 and younger, presented by Orville Redenbacher and Kroger. 
• Run the Bases Game: Fans of all ages can line up after the game to run the bases, presented by Entenmann's Little Bites.
Monday, June 27, 2016 - Reds vs. Chicago Cubs, 7:10 p.m. 
• St. Xavier Night: Students, staff and alumni will be at the ballpark for St. Xavier High School Night. Many of the pregame ceremonies will feature St. X students and Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Bunning (St. X class of 1949) will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. 
• First pitch: Joe Kernan, CNBC news anchor, native Cincinnatian and St. X class of 1974, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. 
• Reds Community Fund & FOX Sports Ohio Telethon: Support the Reds Community Fund during the annual telethon with FOX Sports Ohio. Fans can purchase MVP gift packages containing exclusive Reds merchandise, complimentary tickets, and more for a donation of $100: reds.com/telethon.
Tuesday, June 28, 2016 -Reds vs. Chicago Cubs, 7:10 p.m. 
• Reds Racing Night: The fifth annual Reds Racing Night presented by Kroger will feature driver A.J. Allmendinger throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. A.J. drives the No. 47 Chevrolet SS for JTG Daugherty Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The Kroger Fan Zone will be packed with a collection of racing show cars, displays and simulators.
Wednesday, June 29, 2016 -Reds vs. Chicago Cubs, 12:35 p.m. (Business Day Special, Senior Citizen Special)
• Pregame Parade: Over 800 boys and girls from the Reds Community Fund's "Reds Rookie Success League" summer program will participate in a pregame parade around the field. The honorary Grand Marshal for the parade will be Tyler Aldrich. Tyler, a 21-year-old autistic man from Fremont, Ohio, is running 220 miles from his hometown to Cincinnati to raise money and awareness for autism. His "Run Ohio" journey started on June 10.
