NEW YORK YANKEES TO HOLD IN-PERSON HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE AT YANKEE STADIUM’S GATE 2 ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9
ALL DONATIONS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO BRONX FAMILIES IN NEED THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
The Yankees’ 31st Annual Holiday Food Drive, presented in conjunction with C-Town & Bravo supermarkets and Krasdale Foods, will be accepting in-person food donations on Tuesday, December 9, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Yankee Stadium’s Gate 2. Any fan who brings at least 40 pounds of non-perishable food (such as canned goods, canned sauces and oatmeal) will receive a ticket voucher valid for two (2) complimentary tickets in designated seating areas to select 2026 Yankees regular season home games.
Fans driving to the Stadium may pull up to Gate 2 (on Jerome Ave. by E. 164th Street) to drop off their donation. Rice and bottled water will not be accepted.
All donations will be distributed this holiday season in conjunction with the Bronx Clergy. To help kick off the Food Drive, Krasdale Foods has already provided the Yankees a committed donation exceeding 85,000 pounds of food.
Monetary contributions were also made through the New York Yankees Foundation Virtual Holiday Food Drive, which ran from Nov. 20 – Dec. 3, and received $33,800 in donations. Fans who contributed to the online food drive received an offer code valid for two tickets to select 2026 Yankees regular season home games for every $40 donated.
All proceeds from the Virtual Holiday Food Drive will be used by the New York Yankees Foundation to purchase additional food at wholesale prices to distribute to Bronx families in need this holiday season.
