Miller Park homestand highlights: July 22 - 31

Summer is in full swing and so are the Brewers bats as they begin a 10-game homestand starting with a three-game set against the Chicago Cubs tonight at 7:10 p.m. Following the weekend series, the Crew welcomes the Arizona Diamondbacks as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates to Miller Park. Highlights include two Free-Shirt Fridays, Boy Scouts Night, ALS Day, Fair Days Double Play, 90s Night and a Jimmy Nelson Bobblehead Giveaway. In addition, fans will enjoy the return of the popular "Brewers Block Party."

Summer is in full swing and so are the Brewers bats as they begin a 10-game homestand starting with a three-game set against the Chicago Cubs tonight at 7:10 p.m. Following the weekend series, the Crew welcomes the Arizona Diamondbacks as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates to Miller Park. Highlights include two Free-Shirt Fridays, Boy Scouts Night, ALS Day, Fair Days Double Play, 90s Night and a Jimmy Nelson Bobblehead Giveaway. In addition, fans will enjoy the return of the popular "Brewers Block Party."
 
Tickets for this weekend's games against the Chicago Cubs still remain available for purchase, but the Milwaukee Brewers expect Miller Park to be at or near capacity each day. The team encourages fans attending the games to purchase parking in advance for ease of access and to ensure their place in either the Preferred or General Lots. In addition, fans are encouraged to arrive at Miller Park early as parking lots open three hours prior to first pitch. Advance parking for this weekend's games can be purchased in-person at the Miller Park Ticket Office (up until four hours before game time).
 
Friday, July 22 vs. Chicago Cubs - 7:10 p.m.

Miller Lite Beerpen - Every Friday home game, fans 21 and older can be a part of the Miller Lite Beerpen in the right-field Loge Bleachers. Fans can buy a Loge Bleacher ticket at the regular price and receive a free Miller Lite Brewers hat. For information, visit brewers.com/beerpen.
 
Mayor Tom Barrett's Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative - In support of Mayor Tom Barrett's Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative, the Brewers will host 15 fathers and their kids in a luxury suite. One father will win the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, while a kid will announce "play ball" and another child will be selected as the junior announcer. The purpose of the day is to reinforce the importance of parenting and reward individuals who have committed to strengthening their own family ties.
 
ALS Day - The ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter will be hosting their 5th annual "Chasin' A Cure Tailgate Event" at Miller Park. The tailgate will include great food and drinks, a collectible T-shirt and a performance by Chasin' Mason. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a motor neuron disease. Lou Gehrig brought worldwide attention to the disease in 1939, when he abruptly retired from baseball after his ALS diagnosis. The ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter provides education, guidance, services and support to ALS patients, their families and caregivers, promotes public awareness and raises funds for ALS research. Supporter TJ Kammien will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
 
Saturday, July 23 vs. Chicago Cubs - 6:10 p.m.
Autograph Saturday for Kids presented by U.S. Bank - Prior to the game, kids 14 and under can receive autographs from select Brewers players and coaches. Autograph sessions will begin shortly after gates open and last for approximately 20 minutes. For each Autograph Saturday game, one child will be selected to win a VIP package compliments of U.S. Bank®. The VIP package includes four Loge Level tickets to that night's game, on-field batting practice viewing and more. Brewers Block Party - The Milwaukee Brewers are proud to announce the return of Brewers Block Party this summer. This marks the sixth season that the Brewers have hosted the event, but the first time since 2011. The event will take place from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Village Park in Elm Grove (13600 Juneau Blvd.). The event will once again feature games and activities for the whole family, as well as appearances from Brewers players and coaches, Bernie Brewer and the Klement's Famous Racing Sausages™. Free hot dogs, soda and potato chips (compliments of Klement's, Pepsi and Sportservice, respectively) will be provided for the first 500 people. The Brewers Treat Truck and merchandise trailer will also be on hand for the festivities.
 
Brewers Coupon Book Giveaway - The first 25,000 fans 18 and older will receive a Brewers Coupon Book with a variety of special offers and Brewers ticket savings.
 
Sunday, July 24 vs. Chicago Cubs - 1:10 p.m.
Season Seat Holder Appreciation Day - Season Seat Holders receive 25% off food, beverage and merchandise during select games by simply presenting their Season Seat Holder ID Card. Season Seat Holders also enjoy the opportunity to enter Miller Park 30 minutes prior to the general public to watch the Brewers take batting practice. The Salvation Army Feed the Kids Summer Lunch Distribution - Brewers Wives will assist The Salvation Army with their Feed the Kids Summer Lunch Program. They will help distribute lunches along with frozen treats from the Brewers Treat Truck to children at Carver Park. The Salvation Army Feed the Kids Summer Lunch Program feeds hundreds of children in underserved areas every day during the summer months.

Fair Days Double Play - Nothing says summer like Brewers Baseball and the State Fair. For just $15, fans will receive a Terrace Reserved ticket and one general admission ticket to the Wisconsin State Fair presented by U.S. Cellular®, August 4-14. For an additional $10 per package, fans can upgrade seats to Loge Outfield Box. The ticket package is not available for purchase on the day of the game.
 
Pokémania at Miller Park - There has been a recent outbreak of Pokémon at the home of the Brewers, and as part of Pokémania at Miller Park, Gym Leader Bernie Brewer will be placing Lures at all of the Pokéstops around the ballpark starting when the gates open (5:40pm) and concluding at the start of the game (7:10pm). Intrepid Pokémon trainers should stock up on Poké Balls as they will have 90 minutes to fill their Pokédex with an onslaught of Pocket Monsters prior to Tuesday's battle against the Arizona Arboks.
 
Community Achievers - The Milwaukee Brewers community involvement initiative known as the Community Achievers Award recognizes residents throughout the state of Wisconsin each month during the season for displaying extraordinary efforts in their community. Miguel Green from Milwaukee will be recognized as July's Community Achiever. Miguel will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Brewers Wives Dinner Delivery Program - Brewers Wives will prepare and cook a hot meal for the families at Fisher House Wisconsin. The house provides a "home away from home" for military and veterans' families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.
 
RBI Athlete of the Month - Each month, an RBI (Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities) Athlete is recognized for their dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, reliability and monthly performance. Prior to the game, the Athlete of the Month will be recognized and will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. This month's honoree is Keaton Rock.

Zussman Awards - The John Zussman Baseball & Softball Scholarship Awards honors outstanding student athletes in the Milwaukee Public School system. Zussman formed the "Knothole Club," which offered youths a chance to go to Milwaukee Braves games. Proceeds from the Knothole Club have been used to fund these scholarships since 1975. John has since passed away but his daughter, Ann Lederman, continues his scholarship.
 
LULAC Event - Martin Maldonado partnered with the League of United Latin American Citizen (LULAC, Council 333) to create the "Pitch to Catch Scholarship Fund" to help Wisconsin Hispanic students pursue a college degree. On Thursday evening at the Hyatt Regency, the recipients will receive their scholarship and Martin, along with his wife Janelise, will be in attendance to congratulate the recipients.
 
Friday, July 29 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates - 7:10 p.m.
Joe Adcock Walk of Fame Induction - The Milwaukee Brewers will honor former Milwaukee Braves first basemen, the late Joe Adcock, with an induction into the Miller Park Walk of Fame on Friday, July 29. The on-field ceremony, emceed by Bill Schroeder, is scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. prior to the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Afterwards, Adcock's grandson, Joseph, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

90s Night - Break out the neon, overalls and flannel, throw on your Walkman, and head to Miller Park as it transforms into County Stadium for '90s Night. On Saturday, it's time to party like it's 1999 as the Brewers will wear their throwback home white uniforms with the blue and green crossed bats logo when they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Miller Park will feature a number of tributes throughout the evening, including music from the era, special in-game features and more. Fans who purchase this special 90s Night ticket package will also receive a limited-edition '90s-themed Will Smith player T-shirt. In addition to the fun-filled night, the Brewers will offer special food items at the yard. Fans can enjoy donuts with strawberry icing and multi-colored sprinkles for only $3 at the concession stands near sections 106 and 424. The Brewers will also offer a 90s inspired Candy Bag, featuring Ring Pops, Warheads, Gushers and Airheads, all for $5 at the concession stands located by sections 126 and 227.
 
VMP A Grand Day/THRILLER AT MILLER: 10th Anniversary - VMP Healthcare & Community Living - The Village at Manor Park will host their 10th Annual Thriller at Miller tailgate at Helfaer Field prior to Saturday's game. Events include a softball showdown between the Marquette University School of Dentistry and the Medical College of Wisconsin along with day-long tailgating, dancing, mascot appearances and other fun activities. The winning team will be presented the Caduceus Cup during a special pre-game presentation. VMP promotes active senior lifestyles that enables older adults to stay healthier, happier and more independent through their slogan, "You're never too old to play."
 
Brewers Community Foundation's 5K Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk - The 5K, hosted on Saturday at 8 a.m. features an all-new route that will once again make its way around the warning track of Miller Park. In addition, participants will get to test their skills against the Klement's Famous Racing SausagesTM, as they also run the course. Each participant will receive a complementary Klement's Hot Dog, a Miller Lite (if 21 or older), Aquafina Water and ticket voucher to a select future Brewers home game. Packet Pick-Up will be held on July 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and July 29 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Miller Park Ticket Windows 19-24. The cost to enter is $35, with proceeds benefiting Fisher House Wisconsin and Brewers Community Foundation. Fans have until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27 to register and can do so at brewers.com/5k.
