OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland Athletics will play host to three division foes on their upcoming 10-game homestand beginning Friday, April 14. The homestand opens with back-to-back three-game sets against the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers, before concluding with a four-game series against Felix Hernandez, Robinson Canó, and the Seattle Mariners.
For the first time in more than a decade, fans can enjoy the games from the View Level. With the removal of the tarps, View Level tickets for the upcoming homestand will be $15, with half of every ticket purchase benefitting Oakland Promise, a cradle-to-career initiative that aims to triple the number of college graduates from Oakland within the next decade.
Starting Friday, April 14, the A's, and their retail partner Fanatics, are teaming up with Oaklandish to offer Oaklandish product in team stores. Select Oaklandish t-shirts in men's and women's sizes will be available in the A's main team store (D-store) and C-store at the Coliseum.
Other highlights from the homestand include a Pet Calendar giveaway presented by AvoDerm Natural and Nylabone (10,000 fans) on Friday, April 21, a Warriors/A's t-shirt giveaway presented by Cache Creek Casino Resort (10,000 fans) on Saturday, April 22, and a Khris Davis Striped Socks giveaway presented by Black Bear Diner (15,000 fans) on Sunday, April 23.

BREAKING BARRIERS ESSAY CONTEST WINNER: Major League Baseball and Scholastic are celebrating the 21st year of Breaking Barriers: In Sports, In Life, the educational program designed to teach young students about obstacles faced by Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson as he broke baseball's color barrier in 1947. The A's will honor Rainah Ackley from San Ramon Valley Christian Academy for her winning essay in this year's Breaking Barriers contest, which asks students in grades four through nine to submit an essay about barriers or obstacles they have faced or are still facing in their lives and how they overcame those obstacles using the values demonstrated by Jackie Robinson. Ackley will be joined on the field by Sharon Robinson and an A's player for this pregame ceremony.

A's AMIGOS: The A's Amigos program gives our community's bilingual Spanish speaking children from nonprofit organizations the opportunity to interact with bilingual A's players. Participants are able to learn about the value of sportsmanship and hard work from their role models. In addition to the pregame chat, each child receives a game ticket and an A's cap. A's Amigos is driven by Chevrolet.
